Serendipity and Surprises
Since last update lots has happened as usual. We noticed the pool level dropping so we sealed up some cracks by the waterfall, but aren't yet sure we fixed the problem. Refilling the pool drained one of the water storage tanks which led us to realize the vine covered roof was not serving its purpose since the gutter was not even functioning. Below are some photos of a few things happening over the last week. There are other aspects of finalizing the shed castle that weren't photographed, but will be posted soon, including an image of Shanti, our new cat that came out of the wilderness.
The bath is hooked up and working well. The sliding doors are also installed and sliding nicely. Tomorrow the hardibacker tile board will go up and Tessa will tile and grout the bathroom.
Tessa is excited about having some animals on the premises, so she decided to clean out the chicken house, including removal of all the debris on the roof.

The front door is finished with the exception of lights, which will come in time.
The inside of the front door is wired for lights. The side lights and transome are shower doors with a nice textured glass effect.
Today, Tessa removed the vines from inside the carport. This space will soon be transformed into an arts and craft space just outside the shed castle.
This is the vine that Mango pulled off the roof of the carport. However, it is much larger in mass than what a photo can capture.
