Springtime in Mullum

Springtime is here, keeping me away from the internet, so this post should make up for lost time.

Since the last post, we moved out of the shed and back into the house.  This will allow a more focused effort at finishing the project without disrupting our lifestyle.

The local Goanna that comes down the hill for our chook's eggs.  This guy is about 6' long for 2 meters.

My recent ride down to Ballina along the coast passing Lennox Head while on a lumber run in Floyd.

Before we moved out, Joel and his pup Molly were visiting us for dinner.  Molly and I made friends rather quickly.

Tess and I volunteered for the Living Community Fest, and helped out with painting and screen printing T-Shirts.

We had a roll up door here that was too industrial, so I used some of the windows from our first purchase and hung the frame on barn door hardware, allowing the door to slide open to the left. Tessa hung some nice red velvet curtains.  This is a favorite spot to enjoy the magical views while eating breakfast with the sun shining down.

The knotty pine ceiling going in with new skylights letting in ample light.  I used another one of our 4 pane windows and put a new window in the end wall for extra venting in the warm months.

We went to the small house exhibit in Bangalow a couple weeks ago, while a food fest was going on.
