They like the car!

All right, this has definitely been a well-rounded adventure for me. I just got pulled over in Idaho for not signaling more than a few seconds when it has to be five seconds.

AAA would not ensure me with full coverage even though I told him I’ve done it many times before I register the car. I had to call them to get a declaration page and they asked if there’s a reason why I need it. I told them you will not give me insurance until I registered the car. And I asked if there was a policy change or if it’s because of the value of the car? They wouldn’t give me details. I just said there’s certain factors in place.

So I had to call a new insurance company and I did get insurance while I was pulled over. I already was waiting for the quote and he called me while I was pulled over and I paid with my credit card while I was pulled over as they were making sure the car was not stolen.

So I am getting closer to being registered and sort of done with this adventure and feeling a lot better once it is registered so that everything is legit and on the up and up. But honestly, it’s a little bit disappointing to be pulled over twice when I’m in the slow lane on these highways, far away from everybody going to speed limit or less.

I realize you don’t see many of these cars on the road and I just wonder if other people get the same attention from law-enforcement.

The nice thing is is this officer a real gentleman and he was just doing his job. Now I’m informed and I will use my blinkers much longer than my quick little signals to indicate when no one’s around what I’m doing.
