The Mullum Show
Mullumbimby had their annual town show last weekend. Joel and I rode our bikes to town and skipped the show tickets for a few art books we found at a nearby garage sale. I took a few photos of the crowd gathered to watch the truck parade. It reminded me of the small town parades that happen in Oceanside over the 4th of July with families gathered on the street and drinkers in the balconies.
The night before the parade, Tessa and I wandered over to Byron Bay to check out some locally made jewelry and sculpture at an artist collective, Hammer and Hand. They had a rock band entertaining the guests and artists over conversation about beautiful hand made wares.

Another pano of the truck parade with people enjoying their gadgets.

We're working on finishing the ply on the walls and fitting the sliding bathroom doors to allow for tile in the bathroom. The lights were installed this week too.
I finished framing the windows in with pine trim. Tomorrow might be the start of laying the wood floors.
