Day 2, Flooring
Today was a great day with lots happening. Tess and I went to get her car checked out for the green slip, allowing us to re-register the vehicle for another year.
We walked from the dealership across town and had some brekkie at Lulu's while they checked out the Jazz.
They informed us that the dampeners at the top of the struts need to be replaced as a result of driving on rough roads. We ordered a set at the auto store and should be able to change them out tomorrow, for a $100 savings.
We also stopped in to talk to the guys at Farmcare about our water pump. The guy told us to remove the water saving disk on the shower head and we may have enough pressure, at the highest point, being the shower. Sure enough, the shower seems to work well now, which is great!
When we arrived home after running several errands, Bill, was hanging out in our front yard about a foot off the pathway. We locked eyes, as he turned his body towards the nearest tree and proceeded to climb. He didn't hang around long since the next time we entered the courtyard, there was no sign of the 6 foot long reptile.
I was eager to get back on the floor and Tess worked in the garden. It rained on and off a few times, but didn't seem to impact our work flow. The papayas are loving the rainy season, and the creek sounds tranquil from inside the lodge.

I made it through the closet and under the stairs. The rest should be a breeze.
We're about two thirds of the way done with the flooring and very pleased with the space.
